Join us on a hike through the beautiful Honeyman State Park. The historic trail will weave through forests, next to Woahink Lake, and a variety of local flora and fauna. We'll explore the natural beauty of the park and marvel at the history that surrounds us, both natural and human.
Length of hike is approximately 2.5 miles round trip. Route will include very slight, gradual elevation changes. Surfaces will include pavement, gravel, sand, dirt, and possibly mud, and can also be uneven at times with exposed roots. There will be scenic views of a lake, and great photo opportunities of landscapes and interesting flora and fauna. Meeting location: West Woahink Meeting Hall
What to bring: Be ready for any weather. Dress in warm layers and pack raingear. Sturdy, closed-toed shoes are a must; shoes with ankle support are recommended. Bring water and snacks for yourself along the hike.
Park staff will arrive 15 minutes early and depart 5 minutes after the start time after providing instructions and additional information. Please be on time. Please no dogs on this hike.
